I have worked in the health industry for many years and have developed my skills in a few areas. I have previous experience working in many areas of mental health and also have many years of experience working in the NHS. I have been lucky enough to support hundreds of people in my career that have been living with mental health challenges. I am driven by seeing how therapy can have a real-world positive impact on people and think that in a world that is incredibly complex to navigate. Being able to support positive changes with clients is incredibly rewarding.

I work with people who have experienced many mental health conditions. I have also worked with very complex presentations that sometimes mean people are suffering from multiple problems. I am also specialised in working with people living with Personality Differences.

Usually the first 2 sessions are an assessment to get the full picture of things.

My Approach
The most important and fundamental part of my approach as a Psychotherapist is that all the work i have ever done and will do is driven by a Person-Centered, Psychodynamic, and evidence based practice. This to me means that I don’t look at people with any bias of their condition and accept that people are individuals who happen to be living with a particular set of mental health challenges at a particular time. This type of approach is helpful in understanding people better and is a more down-to-earth and humanistic way of looking at therapy.
